Just got a new 32 gb iTouch. Very cool device, and I wanted a nice case to protect my new toy. The idea of a waterproof case was appealing. We have a hot tub in the backyard and I've always wished I could safely enjoy my iPod out there. Also, we frequent the beach and am a bit nervous about an expensive iPod with water and sand. The Otterbox came and I was quite disappointed by its size. It's quite large and bulky and a bit heavy. This of course totally defeats the ultimate beauty of the iTouch. I will not use the Otterbox as an everyday case--its just to bulky. However, I am debating about whether to keep it just for use in the hot tub or when we go to the beach. I can see that it would be helpful in those situations. At 50 bucks, that's a little expensive though for just a part-time case. Probably worth it to protect a $500 iTouch though for those times you are in a wet, sandy, or dirty environment. The case itself seems solid and I am confident it will do the job. If you NEED waterproof or sand-proof, this is probably a good bet.
