Nice inexpensive lens! it goes from full fisheye to wideangle depending on zoom setting. The constuction is tight and weighs about as much at the lens that came with my Rebel XTi (if thats the camera you have, it does require the included 'step-up' ring). I think its a great lens to have in your amature/semipro arsenal. As for abberation and all that camera talk, i dont know - but my pics come out very nice.
