This is the coolest idea! You just plug your ipod right on top of the Lego, play a song on your ipod and the song plays through the speakers on the lego. It's as simple as that! The sound is way better than I expected and the best part is that the speaker uses NO BATTERIES!!!!!! It runs on the power from your ipod so if your "pod" is charged, you've got Lego power! You can't beat the price for this little gadget ($20) and it's perfect for anyone who has an ipod. It's so small that it fits almost anywhere, it's perfect for travel and it's cute! I think that this little gem is going to sell out way before the Holidays so I would order while they are still available.

We use this speaker when we travel. Instead of traveling with a DVD player for our children, we travel with an iPod video, this speaker, and a pair of toddler head phones (also found on Amazon). The speaker gives enough sound for listening to a movie and keeps your child occupied for those "I'm so through with being still and behaving" moments. Having the speaker connect directly into the iPod means less cords for a child to become entangled in and frustrated with. This is also a great speaker since it doesn't require batteries. No more running out of juice while traveling.

I've also used this speaker for listening to audiobooks with my children and for myself.


This has much better sound than the Sony travel speakers I bought.
