Great Christmas gift January 8, 2009

It looked like the perfect price/performance win, and something my wife would be able to use to share small video, family pics, etc. with her friends. Having both MP3 and FM radio was nice, and 4 GB is a reasonable amount of room- not too small, not excessive (with added expense).
Was it a good gift? YES, my wife has enjoyed it every day since! :)

I got this device in November, 08. I like it very much. I like its looks &graphics. Works very nicely. Video plays surprisingly well with no lost of colors and details. I like creative zen better than I pod. I got 4gb and used 4gb memory card and it became 8gb. Memory slot is the best feature.

Only negative things are: It stuck while accessing memory chip twice but then I knew the trick of restarting it and it worked well after that.
Song search is a bit tricky as you can not jump to next song you want, easily.
I am very happy with this player.

I am hooked on Amazon MP3 downloads. They work well with Windows Media, where I have a TON of music. The Zen player works smoothly for me. I tried an i pod but there were conflicts with i tunes and the set up I already had in place. I almost gave up purchasing an MP3 player entirely. I'm thrilled with my Zen player. I teach Ballet and Modern dance and use it all the time now!

This product is very easy to use, sounds great, and has all the features I need, and more. The large display is very sharp and the labeling and icons are intuitive. Highly recommended! I should add that I'm a fairly cranky, impatient senior citizen, fascinated with, but frustrated by most modern technology.
