5 out of 5 stars ex-75   January 8, 2009

this is a great set of earbuds. product gets a 5 out of 5 for the $30-$50 range earbuds. the sound is a lot more balanced than the ex-71 and 51s. the sound clarity blows the others away. i'm hearing new little details all the time while listening to cds. if you're poor and can't stand insanely overdone base and want a good pair of headphones, buy these.

3 out of 5 stars Extremely comfortable   January 6, 2009
JDMoose (Central CA)
This is my first set of earbuds that I have used with my Sandisk Sansa e250 that weren't the stock earbuds. Even though they do sound fairly well, there is no comparison to using a good set of over the ear headphones. Unfortunatly I don't like hauling headphones all over the place. I also like the fact that the ex-75 have an extention cord, because my headphone cord was too long and it also got in the way. If I carry the ex75 in my top pocket I don't have all that extra cord dangling. The Sony mdr-ex75 earbuds are very comfortable compared to the stock buds. I have also had problems keeping the stock earbuds in my ears without them falling out. These seem to fit extremely well and I don't even realize they are there. Since these are my first aftermarket buds, I have no other buds to compare them to. As far as price goes, Amazon had the best price and I figured they must be pretty good since the Sony store was out of them. All I can say is for the price you can't beat them. I can't see paying $100 for earbuds. I rated this three stars because I haven't compared them to other buds except the stock buds and headphones.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Earbuds   January 2, 2009
Thepp (Stockton, California USA)
Just got these Sony mdr-ex75 earbuds for a few days and I love them! The sound is crystal clear and the bass sounds great. A minor complaint is that I'm used to the behind the neck design of the other Sony earbuds and the Y shape cord design for the ex75 took some time for me to get use to.

Other than that I'm happy with these earbuds.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent and Comfortable   December 26, 2008
A. Millard (Columbus, NC USA)
I've had these for a few months now, and the sound and comfort are the best I've had in earbuds. I use them with the short cord while running/working out. The 2' cord may actually be a few inches too short; I have to wear my iPod armband upside-down so the cord is a little closer to my head in order to keep slack in the cord when my arms are extended. Minor concern at worst; this is an excellent product.

4 out of 5 stars very good for its price   December 20, 2008

this pair of earbuds surpassed my expectations considering it is so cheap. mid and highs are super clear and crisp. i had to turn down the treble on my EQ because it was so sharp.

4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: the extension plug is unnecessary for me and i would have preferred a long, continuous cord. Also, the bass is slightly weak

other than that i would recommend these to anyone
