Excellent case! iPod is secure and well protected and all the buttons work as intended by Apple. I can connect the cable to the unit without any problem (and remove it too!). The iPod looks good in the Speck case and it improves the grip on smooth surfaces. If you want more protection get a screen protector and put it on first then put the iPod in the case. Really worth the price!

This Is The Way The Touch Was Supposed To Be! January 9, 2009

I really love the 2G Touch, but it seemed to be missing something. Well after buying this Speck product I quickly realized it was the whole feel of the grimy, sticky, icky, slippery, & dangerous feeling of the way the 2G Touch originally comes from Apple.

This product completely changes the whole look & feel to the 2G Touch no doubt about it! Also, the sharp cookie cutter volume & Sleep buttons on the Touch (although badly needed) was a bad design but this Speck PixelSkin really solves & covers that little issue nicely.

No issues with the Speck Covering the Wi-Fi spot on the back at all. Also, the pic that Amazon gives for this product doesn't do it justice. The picture from Speck's Website shows it in a bit better light. The lighting on the Amazon site pic for this product, shows more of a plastic look. This is not plastic, it's a nice thick rubber.

Get this item if you don't want to panic every time you pick up the Touch & possibly watch $400 go down on the ground.

Get this item if you want something that doesn't look like it's for a old man or a Girl & yet protects.

Thank you so much for reading this - I like the fact that it provides the option of comforting the IPOD touch (2g) when or if you drop it. Plus you can of course access all buttons without a problem. I've had it for 2-3 months - Nov - Jan Plus it gives an excellent grip when you hand it to someone compared to without a case or with a hardened -

I bought this cover for my son (14 y.o) for his new ipod touch. It is very durable and looks good on the ipod. I would recommend. Wish it came with the clear screen protector for the keypad - then it would be perfect!!
