This is truly a superb product. It looks, sounds and functions great. One of the nicest features is the large digital clock display and AM/FM radio - both of these do not normally come with an iPod Stereo. The price is also great. If you're in the market for an iPod Stereo, this is the one!

Received an Ipod..... WTF? December 27, 2008

I ordered this item for my son as a Christmas gift. Per the photo, it is a Stereo system with Ipod dock. NEW (not used). Seller first told me that it would ship and be delivered in time for Christmas. Three times I contacted the seller inquiring as to whether it had even shipped as I was not even informed of it's status. I was assured that it had shipped and would only take 3-5 days in transit. Today, Sat. Dec. 27, 8 days later, I received in a flimsy cardboard box, not even taped shut and stuffed in the bottom with a few newspapers, an Ipod (used), no cables even. I did not order an Ipod!! And it certainly is not even close to the picture or description on this page, so how could it have been that I mistook this Logitech Pure-Fi elite High-Performance Stereo System for ipod (Black) for a blue, used ipod??? I want my money back!! I will never order from Amazon again except from actual stores! This is the worst experience I have EVER had purchasing anything online!!! So disappointed I am seeing RED!

Sound quality is disappointing. December 22, 2008

The system received high reviews from PC magazines and other sources so I was expecting a quality system. I was very disappointed. The sound quality is very "tinny" and lacks any depth. I am still not sure how to set the clock and when I do, it does not keep very good time. I had no problem with the system recognizing any one of my three iPods. It was easy to setup.

One of the best buys I ever made from Amazon. Thinking about getting it? Just get it - you will not regret it. The sound is awesome - at low levels and ear splitting levels. I have no problem with FM reception - I was kind of worried when I read other reviews before I bought it. Reception is even better than my Kenwood and Sony receivers that I currently own. I did have a docking adapter problem, but used the one that came with my ipod and bingo, problem solved. You won't believe the sound this system puts out - especially when you click on the 'StereoXL' button. Unbelievable - you've got to hear it to really appreciate it. Mind blowing.
