Good little system, but why the price increase? November 24, 2008

I bought this to use at work and have not been disappointed at all in the sound quality. It plays the bass notes well for a system of this size and I haven't noticed distortion when I've turned it up.

The great news is that it works with the 2nd generation iPod Touch, which was a nice surprise when I upgraded my Touch.

The bad news is that it won't work with the 3rd generation iPhone.

The realy bad news is that Amazon charged me only $33.52 in September when I originally bought it. I returned today to buy a second one only to see the price inflated by $22, quite a price increase! I'll look elsewhere for one or wait til the price is lowered.

For the price, I don't think you'll find a better product. Sounds great...gets loud enough to nicely fill a room. Also charges the IPod (well, it charges our two Nano 3Gs), so it's nice to bring on vacation and not need a laptop or other charger for the Ipod.

I have a set of the Bose brand speakers which obviously have better sound. However, for the price of this product, the quality of the sound is wonderful. It is battery operated and small in size which makes it very convienent for travel. It is great to use by the pool, bedroom, or office.
