This transmitter is very easy to use and works well in rural areas where you can find a clean station on the dial. Unfortunately I think this is a problem with all FM transmitters. They just don't let them make them strong enough to overpower interference. This unit allows you to select the station on the IPOD. It also has nifty presets so you can make a quick change if you encounter interference. If you live in a large city with lots of radio stations, don't bother. You'll just throw it out the window in frustration.

I tried one other fm transmitter for my 5th Gen iPod and it was awful. This one has crystal clear sound, no interference even in the Seattle Metro area! I use it on the Japan setting tuned to 87.9 in my car. It's nice because I can use it all over the house too, anywhere I have a clock radio. I'm thrilled!

I've been through a griffin and a different model belkin fm transmitter. Finally the tunefm came through. This one charges the ipod. I would rather have an external screen on the transmitter rather than have to view it through the ipod itself; however that is easy to get over. The sound isn't quite fm radio quality but then again, anything short of a cable that plugs directly to your cd player wont be. I tested out an iriver mobile, and this one went side by side with it. It had the capacity to overpower a few stations that weren't 100% clear. I have yet to change the frequency on mine. This may not be best for big city drivers, works good enough for me, and I got it for under $15.

What can't I say about this item. It's what every iPod needs. Tune to any free station on the dial, 4 presets and wireless! I love it!

I only got this thing yesterday but I love it so far. The other FM transmitters that I've had all had annoying cords, and I'm always searching for the right channel. This little thing is so easy to use, works great, and doesn't take up a lot of room in the car. My little brother has one, so that's why I decided to find one. For the price, you can't beat it. I was looking at other FM transmitters for Ipods and they are very expensive. I would recommend this product over the rest.
