    I bought this device thinking that it was a wonderful idea to keep my ipod covered from the outside world and be able to take it places like a beach. well the controls in the front make you believe you can control the ipod but no, they just work for the CD player. the connection is just an aux connection where you can plug any mp3 player. that is a plus I guess, but then you have to open the cover to change the song you are playing.
    the little display in the front does not show information on the song that is playing from the mp3/wma, just a number. it would be nice if it displayed the actual name of the file.
    overall, I like the boombox, sound is OK for the size, and the FM reception is good. I took my ipod on it for a quick trip and saved it from getting full of dust.
