I Love My Kindle March 12, 2010 Just Patty... (Kennett Square, PA) It was an instant attraction...my Kindle and me...we need each other...we fulfill each other...hee hee hee...
Seriously, it is one of the best gadgets I have ever purchased. It is easy to use, I love buying books to put on it, Whispernet is wondrous, it is more, much more than a book. I also feel as though I am not hurting the environment when I put books on my Kindle. I cannot imagine reading without a Kindle. I own tons of books and yet when I want to read, I instantly turn to my Kindle. I love having a ton of books with me when I travel and my Kindle allows me to do this without paying for extra weight. I would not want to be without a Kindle ever. I love the $9.99 book price for most books because that amount seems reasonable and fair.
Kindle 6" display, latest generation March 12, 2010 D. Raykovich (Indy IN) I have been watching the reviews for at least 9 months and finally made the decision to buy the Kindle. The best decision I ever made. The size is perfect, I love the highlighting and dictionary features. Downloading books is so easy and I like the free book offers as well.
Hooked March 12, 2010 Amanda Kates (Khartoum) I bought the kindle as I was concerned about how many trees I was killing. This has to be the way of the future. It is extremely easy to read and operate. I have had so many positive comments on it and am thinking of asking for a referral fee from Amazon. It is that good.
Now before you buy do some research - some books are not available in your coutnry and you may have to wait a fair while before they are. If this does not bother you, purchase one straight away. I have reconciled the fact that I have to wait for some authors just like I wait for paperbacks.
Enjoy and no longer do you have to go into a store - Amazon Kindle is amazing.
i love my kiindle March 11, 2010 judith bartman (YUMA, ARIZONA, US) i love my kindle, the choice of books i can get is fantastic . the ease of getting these books is also a marvel for a senior citizen. i grew up reading books from my library and listening to the radio. now i get my books flying through the air, what a wonder. I do have one little complaint and that is the 5 way button is a bit hard to manage for me. but all in all its a great machine and so far 3 of my friends have also bought a kindle on my recommendation

Kindle rocks March 11, 2010 T. Lechlitner (Pasadena, MD) I love the Kindle! I got a Nook for Christmas, it arrived Jan 15, 2010. Ordered 1 book and hated it. I returned it 3 weeks later with much hassle with Barnes and Noble regarding return policy plus I had to pay a 10% restocking fee! Ordered the Kindle and I am soooooo happy. Amazon has way more books available, especially books that are new in print. The Kindle is easy to hold, easy to switch pages and navagate, and quick to download books. They have added the new feature of google searches and even allow facebook access = like! I would like to see more magazines available.
