Works like a champ! July 5, 2008
I wanted a friction mount primarily so that I could easily hide the GPS mount when I wasn't in my car. I have a Dash Express GPS, which is definitely on the larger and bulkier side of GPS units, and this mount has worked really well. It sits on top of the dash of my car, which is not a particularly flat surface and I have yet to see it slide out of position. The one caveat I will state here is that I haven't slammed the brakes on yet, and I would not be surprised if it did move under hard braking conditions. I'm very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to others in the market for a friction mount.

The Nav-Mat does it's job and does it well. It stays in place even during hard cornering. It is somewhat heavy and has a grippy bottom surface. Don't have to worry about leaving telltale suction cup rings for potential thiefs. Overall an excellent product!

PROBLEM SOLVED! July 5, 2008
My navigation system is great. However, when going places and leaving it visible in my car, there was always a worry about vandals smashing my windshield to get to it. It was difficult to remove and then install again each time I went somewhere. With the Nav-Mat, PROBLEM SOLVED!
It is easy to use, and keeps my navigation system firmly in place. I just wish it was a little smaller, as it takes up a lot of space in my glove compartment when not in use.

Great dash mount! July 4, 2008
"Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad is great. I love using it. I bought it for my Magellan Maestro 4250 and it simply works as advertised. Way better than sticking my gps to the windshield. It always stays in it's place even with fairly sudden movements. and the convenience of just lifting the whole thing off the dashboard when parking somewhere is really nice. Can keep everything out of sight. Great bargain too as I saw the exact item for 3-4 times the price at other retailers like Best Buy & Circuit City." Electronic Express was fast in shipping the nav-mat. I expected it to come in 3-4 days and it only took two days. Thank You"
