I just needed a basic speaker to hook my ipod up to - something that's easily movable and small so it can go almost anywhere. And I didn't want to spend a lot of money. That said, it's a great speaker for the price, and it's fairly durable too. I've taken it on some small trips, where I've had the extra suitcase space. It produces sound about as good as the speakers on my laptop or my TV (which are both pretty good). I can blast Celine Dion on this and her voice still sounds awesome and full of dimension like it normally does. :)

i like this a lot, i don't own an ipod but i bought this for a friend. it goes pretty loud for such a small thing(+). it charges while you have the ipod docked(+). if you have an ipod with vid you plug in the cable from the base to you tv ant it works(+). no problems its great for the price. highly recomened!!!
