I was using 3 cables to connect my cable box, DVD player and Roku box to a Panasonic TV. First few weeks the cables were working OK, although they fit a little bit loose. Then I started having issues with the picture from the Cable box. The image would often pixelate, pause, or go away completely. I called my cable company to make sure it wasn't the service. Finally replaced all three cables with higher quality, and no problems since. You get what you pay for. I've read a few reviews about certain 1080p products having issues with it. Like any product, I'm sure there may be a few that are less perfect than others, or it may be that these people are using equipment that is less tolerant to certain cables. Either way, I'm using several of these cables running 1080p and am having no issues. I would say in most cases you are safe using this for 1080p connections, which is perfect for the price. After a little research, I've actually found that if the cable is labled with the hdmi logo (which this cable is), the less expensive thinner ones are more likely to have less problems than the thicker Monster type cables (if the length is less than 10 meters), which are more likely to create timing issues with the signals.
