I bought it because I wanted a nice one that would not put my ipod at risk. The thing is cheaply made and the wires came out and broke on the ipod charger within 2 weeks of light use. We can still use the cell phone charger.

This product is a #1 choice for Ipod/phone AC charger, The Belkin Dual USB AC wall charger has great design with an iPod USB that you can plug/remove cable, same goes for the USB with mini USB cables. The Belkin brand is excellent, at a great price, you can save over 30+dollers over the official and 3rd party brand. This item is a must buy.

I'm sure that it is my fault for assuming that, if it is intended for charging an iPod, it would charge an iPod touch 2nd generation, but I was wrong. I gave this as a Christmas gift along with an iPod touch 2nd generation and upset that the charger does NOT charge the iPod touch. The compatibility of such products needs to be more specific.

I was heading on a trip and I needed a power supply for my 80 GB IPOD Video Apple 80 GB iPod AAC/MP3 Video Player Black (5.5 Generation).

This is a great system since I can plug in my IPOD into an outlet, and when I was driving, use the connection for the lighter jack in the rental car. The plug folds into the main housing which make it easier to pack. An LED indicator lets you know that your system is connected and ready to charge.

This is an economical and convenient method to travel with your IPOD so you don't have to run out of power.

Don't leave home without this.

I highly recommend this product.
