As the saying (sorta) goes, all gross things must come to an end, and fans of the animated series Drawn Together must bid their highly inappropriate friends goodbye with this third season set. But if there's any small comfort to be had from this bad news, it's that this last batch of episodes is as berserk--if not more so--than any from the previous two seasons. Opener "Freaks and Greeks" finds the hapless Captain Hero mistaking a new family from Greece as a marauding fraternity, while "Spelling Applebee's" reveals unpleasant secrets of both Foxxy and Princess Clara. New characters abound as well: We meet Hero's monstrous son in "Unrestrainable Trainable," and Foxxy's grandson Ray-Ray in "N.R.A. y Ray," and Animal House star Otis Day turns up to pull a Bill Cosby in "Toot Goes Bollywood." And to bring the whole thing full circle, we discover just what traumatic childhood events caused the Drawn Together cast to behave as they do in "Drawn Together Babies" before the gang reflects on the havoc they've wreaked over the previous three seasons--in musical form, no less--in the series finale, "American Idol Parody Clip Show." It goes without saying that the humor in Season 3 is broad and fairly sick and not for all audiences, but those who can roll with the endless riffs on bodily functions and aberrant psychology (which are uncensored in this set) will also find a share of laughs. The two-disc set includes extended versions of all 14 episodes, as well as commentary by creators Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein and the cast, and in the set's most amusing touch, a karaoke option for the show's frequent musical numbers which allows viewers to upset friends and neighbors by singing along at home. -- Paul Gaita

3 out of 5 stars Did I grow up or did the show get less funny?   November 27, 2008
Gabe (Singapore)
Season 1 & 2 I enjoyed very much with the genre-twists and spoofs. But season 3 just didn't hit my funny bone as much. The novelty seemed to have worn off for me and there was nothing new or surprising.

I did not learn anything new about the characters, so they did not grow in this season, at least for me.

Still it was good for it's run of 3 season, and if you've got season 1 & 2, I've sure you'll get this just to complete your collection.

5 out of 5 stars Good stuff   November 10, 2008

I am writing this assuming there will be a lot of negative reviews. It is not for the Bible belt mentality. It is crude, rude, blasphemous, dirty, sexual, and f u n n y! So many things that only make sense to a specific generation! I love it. If you don't, why did you buy it or even watch more than two minutes of it?

4 out of 5 stars These guys are sick!! And I like it!   October 8, 2008

I enjoy this kind of humor. And it makes it even more appealing being animated. The uncensored versions have all been pretty sick (and funny!). Not all the jokes hit their marks, but that is how comedy works. You can't go wrong with Drawn Together though. The stuff is just plain funny.

5 out of 5 stars It dosent get any better than this.   July 29, 2008
Robin Loerbaeck (Sweden)
Just when you thought that it could get any better after the second season, the third season drops in and proves you wrong big-time!
After the two first episodes you realize that this time you don't even get a pause to breathe, the jokes and insults are like shot out of a Gatling leaving you on the floor laughing you head of.
Even though a little shorter with fewer episodes, the third season truly makes up for it with high class humor.
If you liked the two first season, as always you are going to love this one as well. If you are new to Drawn Together and like raw, adult humor I strongly recommend you give the show a chance.
All three seasons are pure gold if you ask me.

5 out of 5 stars This is the show to end all shows!   July 2, 2008

Reality TV has pretty much taken over the airwaves so it is time to bite back with Drawn Together. This is an animated reality show putting 8 different cartoon characters in a house and seeing what happens. What happens you ask? It can all be summed up in one word....

I would love to tell you what this show is all about, but I have a feeling that it won't be able to get published on this site. What I can tell you is this is the show that reality tv fans will love and reality tv haters will love even more! This show pretty much crosses the line on everything that is good and pure in this world. It is rauncher than Jackass, grosser that Fear Factor, goofier than Flavor of Love and pretty much more amazing than anything you will ever see on television. Each joke makes you laugh until your sides hurt, the uncensored verson on these dvds will shock you so much your jaw will drop all the way down to the Earths core. The pop culture references of television, reality television and various animation companies will make laugh so hard you will do things I can't even say on this web site. What I can say is this is a must see show for anyone from super avengelical to devil worshipers. Get all three seasons in all their gut busting and gut wrenching glory, beleive me it is so worth it!
